I was up until 2:00 and she didn't seem ready to go. Something woke me at 3:45. I checked on her and there were TWO babies :) |

Sure feels like there's still somebody in there buttttttt, it's been over 5 hours since the last baby. |
Turns out the orange boy is more white with orange shading, cream tabby. |
All three are available at this point. |

I KNEW IT!!! It's 10:50 P.M. on the 19th and she's having another kitten! She had baby #3 at 5:25 THIS MORNING! That's over 17 hours!! |
Make that EIGHTEEN + HOURS. 12:05 A.M. August 20th baby #4 is born! Tiger BOY. Exactly like #2 boy. |

We have a bit of a dilemma. Skeeter, who is a kitten I kept from Mia's first litter, thinks these are her kids :) |

When Mia leaves the babies and they cry Skeeter runs in and grabs um and starts hauling them off to a "safe" place. Past the 5 Akitas that live in this house and everything. Well, she's trying to help :) At least I know she'll be a good mama. |
I didn't realize this was happening until I got up this morning. They all like to lay behind the toilet in one of the bathrooms. Mia kept hauling her last litter back there. It's must be the coolest place in the house. Anyway, they also like to tip over the waste basket that's right there. Who knows why :) This morning I see Skeeter back there and proceed to shove the trash back into the basket. I put it back in it's place and the basket seemed heavier than usual. I look in, there's a kitten. I almost threw away a kitten! Skeeter dragged all 4 in there sometime during the night. There were only THREE AKITAS in house at the time. Sheesh |
Fear not, I have babies trapped in a big Akita crate now. They won't be taking any more tours of the homestead :) |

The boys have gone to their new homes now but I still have baby girl. I've been callng her "Baby" and I think she's stayin'. I MAY still part with her if the perfect family comes along. |

Too late! I'm keepin' his sister. I just sent in her registration. Her new name isssssss, drum roll, "Mama's Don't Kick the Baby". From "South Park" :) We call her "Baby". |
